18 May The main radio characteristics of this event  are the presence of a  short duration microwave component  (see the arrows in the upper figure) and the onset of a  type II burst observed in the decameter frequency range. This event is associated with a CME (CMEN23 11:50 UT   PA 154 (deg) Width 46 (deg) V 614 765 1139 Km/s). One distinguishes a narrow structure emerging on the CME side; this structure becomes elongated and propagates along a direction distinct from the CME one.

This event is associated with a shock event detected at L1.
