Submillimeter observatories

Observatories I have used so far in my research.

  • The Atacama Large Millimeter/submillimeter Array (ALMA), at 5000m in Chile
  • The Atacama Compact Array (ACA), which is the short baseline array of the ALMA Observatory
  • The Herschel Space Observatory
  • The Stratospheric Observatory for Far Infrared Astronomy aircraft
  • The IRAM-30m antenna, in the Spanish Sierra Nevada, close to Granada
  • The James Clerk Maxwell Telescope (JCMT), on Mauna Kea in Hawaii
  • The SubMillimeter Array (SMA), also on Mauna Kea
  • The Odin space telescope
  • Other views of the Mauna Kea Observatory
