PICSAT in the oven

It is baking time! We just put the satellite in the oven. Thermostat 80°C, duration 48 hours:

It is the first time the outgassing facility here at LESIA welcomes a whole satellite. The goal of this procedure is to clean up the satellite by outgassing all volatile compounds which could pollute the vacuum chamber SimEnOM.

Today is the day of truth. Will our payload survive to the launch?

We are testing the payload into the cubesat structure into the test POD. This test takes place on the facilities of PIT (LATMOS at Guyancourt).
