To control the piezo actuator which drives the optical fiber in the focal plane of the telescope, and to manage the entire data acquisition process, a dedicated electronic board has been developed, which does not rely on the main on-board computer for its operations. The board embeds the necessary electronics to power and control the avalanche photodiode, a high voltage transformer to provide the required 150 V for the piezo actuator; as well as a set of sensors (temperature, voltage, gyroscopes, etc.) to monitor the health of the payload. The whole system is manager by a 72 Mhz STM32 microcontroller.
