Cet instrument est sous la responsabilit\u00e9 de P. Hartogh (MPS, Allemagne).<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-298\" src=\"https:\/\/sites.lesia.obspm.fr\/thibault-cavalie\/files\/2018\/02\/SWI.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"425\" height=\"449\" srcset=\"https:\/\/sites.lesia.obspm.fr\/thibault-cavalie\/files\/2018\/02\/SWI.png 425w, https:\/\/sites.lesia.obspm.fr\/thibault-cavalie\/files\/2018\/02\/SWI-284x300.png 284w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 425px) 100vw, 425px\" \/><\/p>\n<p><em>L&#8217;instrument SWI<\/em><\/p>\n<p>SWI effectuera des observations \u00e0 <strong>haute r\u00e9solution spatiale, spectrale et temporelle<\/strong> dont les principaux objectifs seront de <strong>mesurer la composition chimique \u00e0 3D et la circulation g\u00e9n\u00e9rale de Jupiter et d\u2019\u00e9tudier les atmosph\u00e8res oxyg\u00e9n\u00e9es des satellites galil\u00e9ens<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Les observations de la stratosph\u00e8re de Jupiter permettront notamment de suivre le devenir des compos\u00e9s d\u00e9pos\u00e9s par la com\u00e8te SL9. L&#8217;observation du m\u00e9thane (CH4, en haut \u00e0 gauche) est simul\u00e9e pour en d\u00e9duire les profils de vent atmosph\u00e9rique (haut centre gauche), de temp\u00e9rature (haut centre droit) et d&#8217;abondance (en haut \u00e0 droite).<\/em><\/p>\n<p>La France contribue au d\u00e9veloppement de SWI, gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 un financement du CNES. Le LERMA produit les synth\u00e9tiseurs de fr\u00e9quence et le r\u00e9cepteur \u00e0 1200GHz. Le LESIA et le LAB participent au d\u00e9veloppement de logiciels, \u00e0 la calibration sol et en vol, et \u00e0 l&#8217;impl\u00e9mentation scientifique de l&#8217;instrument.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Je suis co-I du Submillimetre Wave Instrument<\/strong>. Je supervise le d\u00e9veloppement du logiciel de planification des observations et l&#8217;\u00e9criture des scripts de commande de l&#8217;instrument.
