{"id":66,"date":"2017-01-08T22:54:41","date_gmt":"2017-01-08T21:54:41","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sites.lesia.obspm.fr\/picsat\/?page_id=66"},"modified":"2017-01-15T18:26:09","modified_gmt":"2017-01-15T17:26:09","slug":"testing-in-progress","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"\/picsat-news\/testing-in-progress\/","title":{"rendered":"Testing in Progress"},"content":{"rendered":"<h3>Vibrations<\/h3>\n<p>After a campaign of vibration tests were performed in December 2015 at the Platform Integration Test facility (<a class=\"spip_out\" href=\"http:\/\/www.ovsq.uvsq.fr\/ovsq\/langue-fr\/pit-plateforme-integration-tests\/\" rel=\"external\">PIT<\/a>), we detect an unexpected failure of the original piezoelectric actuators. Because of the PIT testing, we upgraded to a more robust piezoelectric platform (manufactured by Cedrat). A second series of tests was conducted in early April to check the operation of the control electronics and the photodiode. The elements have suffered up to 8 G\u2019s in random frequency and 13 G\u2019s sinusoidal. The setup was not beautiful, but efficient\u00a0:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"\/picsat\/files\/2017\/01\/IMG_1393.avi\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-187 aligncenter\" src=\"\/picsat\/files\/2017\/01\/Vibrations-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"317\" height=\"238\" srcset=\"\/picsat-news\/files\/2017\/01\/Vibrations-300x225.jpg 300w, \/picsat-news\/files\/2017\/01\/Vibrations-768x575.jpg 768w, \/picsat-news\/files\/2017\/01\/Vibrations-1024x767.jpg 1024w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 317px) 100vw, 317px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<h3>Temperature<\/h3>\n<p>The electronics and photodiodes were part of thermal vacuum tests in the tank\u00a0<a class=\"spip_in\" href=\"http:\/\/lesia.obspm.fr\/La-cuve-SimEnOm.html\">SimEnOm<\/a>\u00a0at LESIA, where they underwent a succession of temperature levels from -20 \u00b0 C to + 30 \u00b0 C for 3 days. For PICSAT, it is a crucial system.
