This nanosatellite, developed by the Laboratoire atmosphères, milieux et observations spatiales (Latmos), is designed to study the Earth’s radiation balance and monitor atmospheric gas concentrations.

UVSQ-Sat NG sent out its first signal at 10.30 a.m., some 45 minutes after its ejection at 9.49 a.m., marking the successful completion of a decisive milestone. After checking the satellite’s health in the days following launch, the nominal mission can begin. Following on from UVSQ-Sat and Inspire-Sat 7, UVSQ-Sat NG should provide additional information for ongoing climate studies.

The Fédération Nanosats would like to congratulate the teams who contributed to the design and development of the nanosatellite, and wish them every success for the next stage of operations and the exploitation of the data!

<figure
